Attorney-review draft
Terms of Service
Draft paid-product terms for EveryAILaw Pro. This combines the public EveryAILaw disclaimer and source-policy language with subscription, billing, acceptable-use, and paid-service provisions for attorney review.
1. Acceptance and Eligibility
To access or use EveryAILaw Pro, you must be 18 years of age or older and have the legal authority and capacity to enter into these Terms. If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization.
These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Service Description
EveryAILaw Pro provides subscription-based AI regulatory monitoring, including human-reviewed summaries, source links, deadline alerts, watch-list updates, and customer-specific monitoring briefs filtered to the jurisdictions, roles, AI systems, and delivery preferences provided by the customer.
The public EveryAILaw reference remains available at https://everyailaw.com/. These Terms apply to the paid service at https://app.everyailaw.com/.
3. No Legal Advice
EveryAILaw Pro provides regulatory intelligence and educational information only. Nothing in the service constitutes legal advice, and no attorney-client or professional-client relationship is formed by your access to or use of the service.
You should not act or refrain from acting based on any service content without seeking appropriate legal or professional counsel licensed in your jurisdiction and qualified to advise on the specific facts and circumstances of your situation. AI regulation is a rapidly evolving area of law, and what is accurate today may be superseded tomorrow.
4. Not a Substitute for Professional Compliance
The service is designed to help identify regulations and developments that may be relevant to your activities. It is not a substitute for a qualified legal opinion, formal compliance assessment or audit, regulatory filing, certification, or professional advice regarding your organization's specific risk profile.
5. Source Policy
EveryAILaw Pro is built from publicly available official sources, including enacted legislation, enrolled bill texts, official regulatory guidance, government registers or gazettes, public executive orders, decrees, policy frameworks, and official translations or summaries published by issuing authorities.
The service does not intentionally contain, reproduce, or distribute confidential, proprietary, or non-public source material. Where a regulation or standard is behind a paywall, the service uses metadata, summaries, citations, and publicly available descriptions rather than reproducing the copyrighted text.
Source links are provided so customers can verify information against original materials before making compliance decisions.
6. AI-Assisted Compilation
Portions of EveryAILaw Pro and the underlying EveryAILaw reference are compiled, structured, and maintained with the assistance of AI tools. AI assistance may introduce errors in summarization, classification, or categorization. Inclusion of a regulation, mapping of provisions to obligations, or customer-specific filtering reflects editorial judgment and should not be treated as a definitive legal interpretation.
7. Customer Responsibilities
You are responsible for providing accurate intake information, maintaining access to the email address used for service delivery, reviewing primary sources before making compliance decisions, and maintaining appropriate internal legal, privacy, security, governance, and compliance review processes.
8. Subscription and Billing
EveryAILaw Monitoring is billed monthly through Stripe at the price shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You authorize recurring charges for each billing period until cancellation takes effect.
Payment information is collected and processed by Stripe through Stripe-hosted checkout and billing tools. We do not receive or store full payment card numbers on our servers.
9. Cancellation and Refunds
Cancellation and refund terms are described in the Refund and Cancellation Policy. Unless otherwise stated there or required by law, cancellation stops future renewals and does not automatically refund fees already paid.
10. Acceptable Use
You may not resell the service, scrape or bulk extract service content to build a competing product, interfere with service operation, bypass access controls, attempt unauthorized access, share credentials outside your authorized organization, or use the service for unlawful activity.
11. Intellectual Property
Public laws, regulations, and official source materials remain public source materials. EveryAILaw Pro's selection, structure, summaries, monitoring workflow, provision mappings, ontology, personalization, analysis, and service presentation are part of the service's proprietary value unless otherwise stated.
12. Third-Party Services and Links
The service may link to third-party websites, including official government sources, standards bodies, payment pages, and related services. Third-party links are provided for convenience and reference. We do not control or assume responsibility for third-party content, privacy policies, accuracy, availability, or practices.
13. Availability, Changes, and Timeliness
Laws and regulations change frequently. Although we use reasonable efforts to keep monitoring current, there may be delays between when a law is enacted, amended, repealed, interpreted, or enforced and when the service reflects that change. Coverage does not guarantee that every regulation in every jurisdiction has been identified.
We may suspend, modify, or discontinue features for maintenance, security, legal compliance, operational reasons, or product development.
14. No Warranty and Limitation of Liability
The service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, timeliness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Liability limitations, warranty disclaimers, damage exclusions, and any liability cap should be reviewed and finalized by counsel before these Terms are published as final customer-facing terms.
15. Contact
Legal notices should be directed to legal@everyailaw.com. Support and billing questions should be directed to support@everyailaw.com.
